Against the backdrop of the increasing un-affordability of homeownership, there is a renewed focus on building new affordable rental housing in Ontario.
The Housing Supply Forum will bring together housing experts, policy makers and the not-for-profit sector to share solutions about how to increase the supply of new affordable housing in Ontario.
The Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) will welcome officials from the City of Vancouver to discuss their approach to the affordable housing challenge, and how such a model could be implemented in Ontario.
The Housing Supply Forum will focus on the success of Vancouver’s Rental 100 program, and its goals to create 5,000 new rental units by 2021.
