Minister Holder: Seizing Canada’s Moment: Moving Forward in Science, Technology and Innovation11:45am-1:30pm | Hilton Hotel - 145 Richmond St. W. , Toronto
As Canada nears its 150th anniversary, the opportunity for Canadians to seize our moment in history has never been better. Canada has weathered one of the worst economic recessions with steady economic growth and employment and today we boast the most educated work force in the developed world.
How Canada leverages our leadership in science, technology and innovation to face global challenges- growing competition from emerging economies, low productivity and lagging business innovation for instance- will be a key component of long-term job creation, prosperity and preserving and improving the quality of life Canadians enjoy.
